Success of Forbidden Journey led to the creation of a dedicated area at Universal for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter:

Space Mountain, situated in Disney's Magic Kingdom in Florida, ranks second among the top attractions. This indoor roller coaster, themed around outer space, is one of six rides in Orlando that made it into the top 10.

In contrast, Forbidden Journey, inspired by scenes from the Harry Potter films, quickly gained popularity upon its debut in 2010. Housed within a large replica of Hogwarts, this ride utilizes virtual reality and simulation technology, allowing fans to experience the sensation of soaring on a broomstick.

The success of Forbidden Journey led to the creation of a dedicated area at Universal for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which expanded in 2012, taking the place of the beloved Jaws ride.

Despite being closed for over ten years, Jaws still holds a commendable sixth place. This boat ride, inspired by Steven Spielberg's 1975 film, takes guests on a gentle journey through the fictional Amity Island harbor before encountering a menacing great white shark.

Orlando is also home to the attractions that occupy the eighth, ninth, and tenth spots: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Splash Mountain (recently reimagined as Tiana's Bayou Adventure) at Magic Kingdom, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

In California, the highest-rated attraction is Jurassic World: The Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood, which ranks fourth. This water-themed experience is based on Spielberg's 1993 dinosaur film and its sequels.
