War-hammer maker Games Workshop for the fantasy figurine maker:

                                Games Workshop, the renowned creator of War-hammer, is set to make its inaugural appearance on the prestigious FTSE 100 index this coming Monday.

This milestone marks a remarkable journey for the fantasy figurine manufacturer. Over the past decade, shares in the Nottingham-based company have surged by nearly 2600 percent, bringing its valuation to just under £4.3 billion.

This positions it closely alongside budget airline Easy Jet, valued at just over £4.3 billion, and B&Q parent company Kingfisher, which stands at £4.5 billion.
The company's recent elevation was bolstered this month by a significant agreement with Amazon, allowing the tech giant to adapt its sci-fi universe, Warhammer 40,000, into film and television productions.

Games Workshop's rise to the FTSE 100 occurs nearly 50 years after its founders—Ian Livingstone, Steve Jackson, and John Peake—established the business in a flat in Shepherd's Bush in 1975.Notable fans of the franchise include actor Henry Cavill, musician Ed Sheeran, and former home secretary James Cleverly.

The company's achievements are particularly impressive given the low visibility of its executive team. Kevin Rountree, the long-serving chief executive who has been with the company for over 25 years, remains a figure of intrigue with a minimal public presence.

Finance director Liz Harrison, another long-time member of Games Workshop, joined the organization in 2000 as the finance manager for its German operations.
